Black Dagger: Prison Camp is a paranormal urban romance series written in omniscient third person point of view by the author Jessica Bird aka JR Ward. Along with Black Dagger Legacy, Fallen Angels, and Lair of the Wolven, Prison Camp is a spin-off from the main series Black Dagger Brotherhood. Themes[]
As is common in the genre, the novels contain explicit sexual content, primarily heterosexual, in addition to scenes of graphic violence. Themes can differ from book to book and include ableism, abuse, dubious consent, misogyny, murder, rape, and more, but all deal with a corrupt justice system.
