Nicknamed the Warden, J.R. Ward is the author of the warrior vampire series The Black Dagger Brotherhood and the various spin-off series- Fallen Angels, Black Dagger Legacy, Black Dagger Brotherhood: Prison Camp, and Lair of the Wolven- all of which take place in the same universe. About the Author[]
JR Ward is a law school graduate, then went on to work in healthcare in Boston as Chief of Staff in one of the nation's premiere academic medical centers. Currently, she lives in the south with her husband and golden retriever[1] and is a fan of college sports,[2] the Louisville Cardinals.[3] Her least and favorite characters to write are Vishous and Syn, respectively; V's too prickly[4] and she loves how deranged and tragic Syn and his story are.[5]
